Water: A Ubiquitous Rarity (Sonnet)

Om Sanan Additional Post March 21, 2022

From morning dew drops on the grass’ bowl

mmmThe Water and its formless, shapeless flow

A bountiful resource we must control

mmmTemper, volatile, Nature bestows

The robust part of Earth that plays unfair

mmmSome may say it decides our lives’ fate

God’s essential gift, for some so rare

mmmTo get clean Water, an enormous weight

India, Zimbabwe, people have not seen

mmmThis natural resource, so scarce and impure

Let’s conserve Water, so clean and pristine

mmmTo share with others, we must ensure

Water conservation we must explore

Access to clean Water, we can’t ignore
