In November 2019, I secured $6,501 for the implementation of 12 piped water systems in Balijodi, a district in the state of Odisha in India, to provide water to about 100 people (sponsored by CharityWater and Gram Vikas). Only 4-20% of the population in districts of Odisha have improved water and sanitation services. The situation was very challenging for some people with the pandemic simultaneously going on, but along with Gram Vikas, a village development organization in Odisha, the project finally finished in 2020.
